Privacy, short and clear

You can compare prices entirely without logging in. We don’t store your searches on a server and don’t build a profile of you.

If you voluntarily create an account, we store your email and the details you enter (name, phone, postcode, regular vet and pet profiles) to send reminders and make your visit easier. Sign-in uses a one-time email link; we store no passwords. You can delete your account and all data yourself at any time under “My pets”.

If you share a price or review, we store it with an encrypted (hashed) version of your IP address to prevent abuse — never your raw IP. Prices are only shown aggregated (typical price).

“Use my location” only works if you allow it in your browser. Your location is used in your browser to calculate distances and is not stored by us.

Account data is stored in a database within the EU (Cloudflare D1, Western Europe).

For the map, postcodes, photos and logos we load data from third parties (PDOK, OpenStreetMap, Unsplash and Google). Those services can see your IP address; consult their own privacy policies.

To measure whether our ads work, we load measurement pixels from TikTok and soon Meta via Google Tag Manager — but only if you consent via the cookie notice. If you say no, we don’t load them at all. The pixels see which pages you visit and your IP address, and may set cookies for this; if you have a TikTok or Meta account, they can link this to your profile. We ourselves never share your name, email or pet details with these parties. Consult their own privacy policies for how they handle this data. Change your choice

We ourselves only set one functional cookie when you log in, to remember your session. Your search settings live in the URL, so you can share a search. In addition, the marketing pixels above may set TikTok or Meta cookies.
